It's safe to say that most of the best 4x4's never end up in North America. Oh, we get all the big gas guzzlers and critical-mass diesel pushers, but very few of the truly capable, efficient, and smaller four wheel drive vehicles the rest of the world gets to enjoy.
The Suzuki Vitara diesel is one such example. This video review on CarAdvice.com.au, while not particularly in depth and certainly not off-road focused, still gives a decent overview of a very capable 4WD rig.
And did I forget to mention it can travel 100 kilometers on about 7 litres of fuel while still putting out some 300Nm of torque? 'Cause I wouldn't want to forget to mention that...
